What Argus is doing for the Environment?

In February 2008 Argus Car Hire launched its Worldwide 100 environmental initiative which pledges to plant a tree for every 100 reservations made through the company's reservations system.

The campaign was launched in conjunction with the Curlew Trust, a charity that enables biodiversity through the planting of 18,000 hardwood trees and the reintroduction of The Golden Eagle, Red Kite and White Tailed Eagle into all extinct areas.

Argus Car Hire predicts that it will plant enough oak trees throughout 2008 to fill an area the size of the Giants Stadium. The company also pledges its commitment to continually improve work practices to be more environmental friendly.
