Absolutely fantastic service from Sixt, particularly as we had booked and expected an Opel Corsa. When we arrived to pick up however, no Corsas were available and we were given, for the same price, a Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 automatic diesel. This really made our week's holiday and was great fun to drive and a talking point for everybody. Oh, if only this happened every time!!
The only down side was trying to find our way to the return point at Geneva Airport. This was very badly signed but obviously was nothing to do with your company.

I found the service very good and experienced no problems. I may suggest that the need for an international drivers licence be more prominantly displayed where appropriate as I only noticed it in the small print 3 days before travelling.

I thought I had booked a medium family sized vehicle to find it was small compact, I was offered an upgrade with a discount which I took. However from Vancouver the most obvious place people are going to drive is to Whistler (Snow resort!) The car had summer tyres with very little tread. So a big improvment would be cars in a road worthy condition!

Car provided to me at Geneva airport did not have a pass for motorway travel in Switzerland. This meant that I was stopped and had to purchase an annual pass. There was no problem at the return desk in obtaining the refund from the car rental company (SIXT). However this should not have had to be my problem. Otherwise, service and performance of staff and system were excellent.
