Pleasantly surprised by the Barcelona Train Station car hire, I had a vey bad experience in Italy some years ago with carhire3000/Europcar, which was my first time using a company that was not Hertz/Avis. In my mind, I incorrectly assumed the smaller operators could be out to get as much money from customers as possible, by whatever means, but Argus/Alamo did exactly as they said they would, so I would have no problem recommending them.
