The country is bordered by the Black Sea on the east – over 235 glorious miles of spectacular coastline that contain some superb beach resorts, popular among Bulgarian holidaymakers for years, but becoming ever more alluring to international travellers. The coast is particularly suitable for those who want fun in the sun at a low cost, as the price of accommodation, food, drinks and general living is quite low. A good meal with drinks in a nice restaurant should cost somewhere in the region of ten to twenty euro, meaning that budget dining needn’t mean poor quality food.
