Let Glasgow act as a base from which to explore the stunning Scottish countryside.  With a hire car, you’re free to take a scenic drive to the pretty Loch Lomond or take time out to climb the nearby Ben Lomond to avail of spectacular views.  A short drive to Glasgow’s pretty National Trust for Scotland Greenback House and Gardens is another worthwhile day-trip.
