Malaga Airport offers passengers a range of facilities including banking and currency exchange facilities.  There are also VIP lounges, lost and left luggage areas and internet facilities.  A post office is situated in terminal 1 on the first floor and is open from Monday to Friday. 

Passengers may exchange currency at the Banking services and currency exchange at the airport.  One is located in the T2 arrivals hall and the other is in the T1 departures hall.  ATMs are situated on every floor in the public and passenger only areas o f the airport.  A VIP lounge is located in terminal 3 on the second floor. 

Wi-Fi and wireless internet access is provided at the airport.  Broadband connections are available through laptops, phones or PDAs, and are supplied by Telefónica de España.

A number of tour operators have desks in the departures lobby of T2 and T3.
Malaga Airport’s new terminal is located beside the T2 terminal and is directly connected to it.  All EU flights now arrive and depart from the T3 terminal.  Passengers from non EU destinations are asked to check in in Terminal 2.  All tour operators are situated in Terminal 3.

Malaga airport is the main airport for southern Spain.  The distance from Malaga city centre is just six kilometres.  It is possible to reach the main cities of the Costa del Sol and most Malaga golf courses in under an hour. A number of companies offer car rental services at Malaga Airport.

Adventurous tourists are free to take a short trip to the pretty beaches of Nerja or Motril.  Meanwhile, the town of Ronda provides plenty of photo opportunities.  Located high in the hills, some 48km from Marbella is Ronda, one of the most historic towns in region.  The town is a popular day-trip destination for those holidaying on the Costa del Sol who want to take a break and soak up some of the culture of the surrounding area.  Ronda is renowned for its dramatic gorge which divides the medieval from the 18th century parts of town.  The gorge is also known as El Tajo and is spanned by a stone bridge called Puente Nuevo which once housed a prison and is now a popular viewpoint for visitors.  There is also a magnificent walkway known as El Parador located along the river gorge which provides wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.  Ronda is also famous for having a bullring which is known for being the oldest and largest in Spain.  In the low season, the bullring is open to visitors and has an impressive museum.

A permanent exhibition takes place in the Museo Interactivo de la Music (MIMMA) in the Muralla Plaza de la Marina.  It is open every day from 11.00 to 21.00.

A permanent exhibition about the Malaga artist Rafael Perez Estrada is open to the public on the lower ground floor gallery of the Municipal Archives.
