City Breaks in Warsaw
The country’s beauty is ubiquitously evident – in its old cities, in the rugged and untamed allure of its nature reserves and national parks, and in the welcoming hospitality of its people. Poland is a country with a proud and strong cultural heritage. As such, music, theatre, opera and dance companies are myriad, and there is ample opportunity to attend wonderful performances throughout the country.
Visit Warsaw, the country’s capital, where the Old Town was painstakingly rebuilt after the sever devastation it suffered during WWII, to resemble as closely as possible its splendor in previous centuries. The observation deck on the 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science will present you with some great vistas over the city. The Warsaw Rising Museum is well worth visiting to gain insight into the time when the people of the city were active in the Polish uprising. The town of Zelazowa Wola lies just 53km west of the city of Warsaw, an easy drive with Poland Car Hire. Here you can visit the manor house where Frederick Chopin was born, and in the summer there are regular recitals performed.
Wherever your Poland holiday takes you, let Poland Car Hire take you there.
