Add car rental was founded in 2005 and is now the largest car hire company in the Baltics.  Add car hire works with partners all around the world. Add car rental was established in association with airBaltic. Since it was set up, the company has formed strong relationships with many major European airlines.

Grouped together on the coast of the Baltic Sea, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia form the Baltic Region of Eastern Europe.  The three countries may be geographically close, but they are dramatically different from each other in many ways. Lithuanians and Latvians have similarities in their language, but culturally, that’s as far as their similarities stretch.  Meanwhile, Estonian has its roots in Finno-Ugric language, but language is only one of the ways that these countries differentiate themselves from each other.

All of the countries in the Baltic take pride in their individual, traditional folk cultures.  Festivals and markets provide a backdrop for folk dances, crafts and cuisine. Visitors to Baltic countries can learn much about local folk culture at art galleries and history museums.

Latvia is located between Estonia, its northerly neighbour and Lithuania which is its neighbour on the south. As Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany share borders along the Baltic region, every country has a coast that backs onto the Baltic Sea, providing seafood and minerals such as amber for the locals to sell.

Riga Airport is by far the busiest airport in the Baltics and is the main hub for Air Baltic, which flies to almost 60 cities around Europe.  The airport also provides a transatlantic route to New Yorkvia Uzbekistan Airways.  Meanwhile, Tallinn Airport is a base for Estonian Air as well as an important hub for Air Baltic as well as Vilnius Airport. Czech Airlines, Finnair, Lot Polish Airlines and Norwegian service all three airports.

Those looking to encompass all Baltic States should include Via Baltica in their itinerary.  The route includes Tallinn in Estonia, Riga in Latvia and Kaunas in Lithuania.
