Thunderstorms are also a common occurrence in May and September but shouldn’t affect your holiday plans too much.

Florida’s second most popular attraction is the Kennedy Space Centre which is situated at Cape Canaveral.  Visitors here can take a walk through a giant model of the new International Space Station or see original artifacts taken from the moon landing.

The Orlando Museum of Art is must for those who adore fine arts.  Meanwhile, thrillseekers will find plenty to keep them amused at the Nascar Daytona Speedway.  Anyone looking to experience one of Orlando’s more unusual attractions should spend an afternoon at Orlando’s weird and wonderful Orlando Odditorium, where Robert Ripley’s 40 year collection can be seen.
