Hopes High for ArgusCarHire.com Sponsored European Alfa Romeo Champion, Eoin Murray in next round of British Touring Car Championships, Donington, UK, 29-30th July 2006

Following a stunning debut performance at the BTCC at Croft last weekend, Irish eyes will be focused on Eoin Murray at the next round of the championship, this weekend (29th - 30th July 2006) where he will be driving the ArgusCarHire.com backed Alfa Romeo. At the qualifier race last weekend Eoin came in fourteenth on the grid at race one, working his way to tenth position.

In spite of carrying the maximum weight of 45KG on his car for the weekend he still managed to finish race two & three in a very credible eleventh & twelfth place respectively. Commenting afterwards Eoin said ”I am delighted with the performance of the car and the team this weekend we have learned a great deal about the car already and this is information which will be put to good use before we go to Donington Park in two weeks time. I am satisfied that we have a strong package and with the support from Reynolds Logistics and Argus Car Hire.com we are well positioned to make a step forward.”
