Argus Car Hire sources the best value rates from agents around the world, saving you time and money.
In the unlikely event that you should find a lower price on another website within 7 days of your reservation, we will refund you the difference.
Who Can Claim:
- If you have an “Active” booking with ArgusCarHire
Please select “Yes” and complete the Price Promise Request Form within 48 hrs of making your booking using your “active” reservation number & email address. - If you do not have an “Active” booking with ArgusCarHire
Please select “No” and complete the Price Promise Request Form in full within a minimum of 7 days before your intended pick-up date.
How To Claim:
- Add all relevant details of the rental along with the website and/or supplier where you found the same offer but cheaper online price.
- Once ALL information has been entered please submit claim.
- One of our Price Promise agents will verify your claim and get back to you within 48 hrs (Price Promise agents are available to respond Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 GMT)
What Happens Next:
If our Price Promise team can find and replicate the lower price we will:
- Refund the difference to the customers with an “active” booking
- Reduce our price to match the cheaper option for all customers who do not have an active booking.

Price Promise may not include vehicles that have an "on request" status with ArgusCarHire.com or the company under comparison. The actual rental value and service may only be compared. Optional extra costs including additional driver, child seats, GPS systems etc will not be considered. Price promise covers the before or after booking date up until the rental start date and does not apply to promotional offers.
Argus Car Hire must verify the terms and conditions of the alternative offer. When the price, suppliers and T&Cs have been checked, a member of the price promise team will be in contact with an update on your quoted rate. It is important to bear in mind that 'like for like' refers to product and service and not additional options. If the other price is for an off rental airport and Argus Car Hire's is on airport, this will not be deemed 'like for like'. All Price Promise requests are handled Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm. Requests may be submitted any time using the Price Promise form.
