Often overshadowed by Walt’s mighty empire, Knott’s Berry Farm is another Anaheim theme park that is most certainly worth checking out. Arguably the best in town for thrill rides, with attractions such as the neck breaking Xcelerator and Boomerang, it also houses many kids’ rides.
If anyone in your party is into sports, try and head down to the Honda Center to watch the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim work their magic on the ice. The hockey team were originally founded and named by Disney after the 1992 film The Mighty Ducks but the franchise was sold on in 2005.
If you’re after something a little different to the standard fast food, try Corn Dog Castle. Situated in Disneyland, this snack is as high in the taste stakes as it is calories. If you want to seek refuge from the sugar coated theme parks and love great Italian food, head up to Baci in the Anaheim Hills.
