This culture rich city has plenty to offer visitors, with a bustling metropolitan centre filled with contemporary shops, restaurants and attractions and sprawling rural landscape that’s ideal for walkers and hikers as well as a rich African American history. The two main attractions in the city centre are the Georgia Aquarium and the new World of Coca-Cola, both of which attract thousands of visitors every year. Atlanta has a humid subtropical climate. The city sees a fair amount of rainfall throughout the year. Summer boasts hot temperatures around the early thirties between July and August. Street names can be confusing, as more than seventy street names include the word “Peachtree”. It might be worth planning your journey beforehand.
