Important things to note

Be aware that the town centre has a large pedestrian zone where cars are strictly prohibited from going.
Take care to observe local parking regulations to avoid receiving a fine or having your vehicle clamped. There are short term and metered parking zones in and around the town centre.
If volumes of traffic begin to build up and congestion looks likely, vehicles must form an emergency corridor, regardless of whether or not emergency vehicles are approaching.

Airport Information

Salzburg Airport is located just over 60 miles north northeast of the town of Zell am See. The drive from the airport to the town takes approximately 1.5 hours via the A10 and B311.
The airport has two terminals. The second terminal is mainly used during the winter months for the ski season. Terminal 2 also has an area solely for checking-in ski equipment. Terminal 1 is for ordinary luggage.
