Advice for Renting a Car at Barcelona Airport

In Spain, cars drive on the right hand side of the road.  If you are not used to driving on the right, it is important that that you familiarise yourself with the layout of your vehicle – the steering wheel will be located on the left of the car, while the handbrake and gear stick will be to your right. If possible, it is worth taking a practice drive around the car park of your car rental supplier to get used to driving on the other side of the road.

Barcelona is a popular destination all year round destination so it is always worth booking your rental car in advance to ensure that you avail of the best possible price and best choice of vehicles.
