Bremen is closer to the Autobahn 1 which runs to Hamburg and the A27 route which goes north to Bremerhaven and Cuxhave and south to Hanover and Berlin.

Always observe parking restrictions to avoid a fine or having your vehicle towed. If parking in a parking disc zone, you must display your parking disc in your vehicle.
It is prohibited to park your vehicle on the kerb, facing on-coming traffic. Parking is always on the right, except on a one-way street.
