It’s generally recommended to drive cautiously, as local drivers can be careless and some roads are poorly maintained.
Fuelling stations don’t tend to be open on Sundays, so it’s recommended to ensure you have plenty of fuel when travelling by car on weekends.

Airport Information

Aktion National Airport is located approximately four miles south of Preveza town centre and is accessible via the E55 national road, part of which is an underground tunnel going beneath the sea.
The airport is a major terminal for domestic and regional flights, although low-cost airlines have used Aktion Airport more regularly in the last few years.
