Pisa Airport Car Rental

Pisa is probably most famous for its leaning tower but there is much more to see in this area of Italy.  The area that surrounds the cathedral and tower is surprisingly picturesque, meaning a simple visit to the tower may actually take up several hours of your time. Other places of interest in the area include the Arno River, a university and a number of interesting museums.  Renting a car in Pisa gives you the option to explore not just this city but also the many pretty towns in this area of Italy including Siena and Lucca.

Advice for Renting a Car in Pisa

In Pisa, cars drive on the right hand side of the road.  Those who are not used to driving on this side of the road are advised to familiarise themselves with the layout of their rental vehicle.    The steering wheel will be on the left, while the gearstick and handbrake will be on the right hand side.
Before you pick up your rental car at the desk, you should ensure that you have all relevant documentation including your booking confirmation email, your credit card, your driver’s licence and any other identification requested by your rental car provider.
