Advice for Renting a Car at Lisbon Airport:

In Portugal, cars drive on the right-hand side of the road.  If you are not used to driving on this side of the road, it is worth spending a few minutes familiarising yourself with the internal layout of the car and even taking the car for a short practice drive if possible.  Remember, the steering wheel will be on the left-hand side and the gear-stick and handbrake will be on the right-hand side.

Before picking up your rental car, ensure that you have all necessary documentation including your rental confirmation voucher, your credit card, your driver’s licence and any other forms of identification outlined in the terms of your rental.
