Advice for Renting a Car at Melbourne Airport
In Australia, cars drive on the left-hand side of the road. If you are not used to driving on this side of the road, it is worth taking a few minutes to go on a practice drive around your car rental provider’s car park. Remember, the steering wheel will be on the right and the handbrake and gearstick will be on the left. As soon as you arrive in Melbourne Airport, be sure to have all important documents ready to present to the agent on the desk. Essential items include your booking confirmation voucher, your credit card, passport, driver’s licence and any other forms of identification requested by your car rental provider in their terms and conditions.
