Advice for Renting a Car in Miami Airport

In Miami, cars drive on the right hand side. If you are not used to driving on this side of the road, it is worth taking your car for a practice drive around the car park of your car rental provider if possible, before you drive on the main road. Remember too that the steering wheel will be on the left-hand side and you will be opening the car door with your left hand.

Before you arrive at the car rental desk to pick up your rental car, you should ensure that you have all necessary documents ready to present to the agent at the desk.  Important documents include your booking reference document, your driving licence, your credit card and any other identification requested by your rental car provider.
