The centre of Benidorm has a one-way system which can be difficult to navigate for visitors who are unfamiliar with the area
Given Benidorm’s popularity as a tourist destination, parking can be particularly problematic in the city.
The AP7 toll road runs connects Alicante and Benidorm and is a less congested alternative to the busy N-332 which runs parallel

Highlights & Hotspots

Catch a few rays, take a refreshing dip in the neighbouring waters, or try your hand at water sports activities at one of Benidorm’s two famous beaches. The Levante and Poniente beaches stretch for more than two miles and are classed as blue flag beaches by the European Union due to their high levels of cleanliness and safety.
On the two beaches, there is also the opportunity to go scuba diving in the rocky coves nearby, allowing you to observe the marine animals living in off the coast of Benidorm.
If you’re looking for somewhere to keep the children entertained, Spain’s largest the waterpark, Aqualandia, is but a stone’s throw from the centre of Benidorm. Alternatively, the Terra Mitica theme park has an array rides to cater for thrill seekers all ages.
Escape the crowds and head to the town of Altea which is situated a mere 12km away from Benidorm. With its quaint cobbled streets and picturesque views of the bay, this small municipality is full of character and makes for the ideal retreat away from the tourist frenzy further along the coast.

Airport Information

The closest airport to Benidorm is Alicante Airport, located approximately 60 miles away. The airport offers flights from over 30 low cost airlines to various destinations throughout Europe, with easy access to the city from the airport.
The AP-7 motorway will take you towards Alicante. By going along the A70, which meets with the AP7, you should turn onto the N-338 going southwards. It will take you straight to the airport.
