Important things to note

Brighton’s roads are susceptible to traffic jams and congestion, owing to the large volume of traffic running through the city. Avoid driving at peak times such as the morning and evening rush hours.
Be aware that while car parks are available in Brighton, many charge an hourly fee which can be expensive. Always observe parking regulations, especially on-street parking meters.
During Brighton’s annual gay pride week, usually the first week in August, many roads will be closed for the parade.
