Advice for Renting a Car at Orlando Airport

In Orlando, cars drive on the right-hand side of the road.  If you are not used to driving on this side of the road it is worth familiarising yourself with the layout of your car before you drive onto the main road. 
Remember, the steering wheel will be on the left hand side and you will be opening your door with your left hand. Once you arrive at Orlando airport ensure that you have all essential documents ready to present to the agent on duyt at the desk.  Important items include your rental car voucher, your credit card, passport, driver’s licence and any other forms of identification requested by your rental car agent in their terms and conditions.

Banks and a bureaux de change are located within the main terminal building. There are 24-hour internet kiosks located around the terminal buildings and there is also free Wi-Fi access for customers.  Postal services are available in the main terminal.
Food and drink services include fast food outlets, delicatessens, bars and cafés.  Most of these are located in the food court of the terminal building but there are also other options available in the satellite terminals.
Shops in Orlando Airport include duty free in the airside satellite terminals, fashion boutiques, bookshops, newsagents and gift shops.Orlando airport has three car parks with direct access to the terminal as well as two additional car parks providing car parking facilities and a free shuttle service to and from the terminal.  The airport also provides a free short-term car park.   Valet parking is also available.

Driving to Orlando Airport

If driving to Orlando airport from the north, take the SR436 at Semoran Boulevard or the SR417 (Greeneway).  If travelling from the south, take the SR417 at Greenway.  If driving from the west, take the SR528 (Beeline Expressway).  All of these can be reached via Interstate 4.  If travelling from the east, follow the SR528 (Beeline Expressway), this can be reached from Interstate 95.
