Important things to note

Unlike many other large cities, Sacramento is easy to navigate with most roads being signposted and routes easy to follow.
Although the city is easy to navigate, it’s recommended to avoid driving during morning and evening rush hours. The increased volume in traffic leads to heavy congestion and long delays, so it’s best to avoid driving during these times.
There are plenty of parking facilities available in and around the city including car parks and on-street parking.

Airport Information

Sacramento International Airport is located approximately 11 miles northwest of downtown Sacramento and is accessible via the I-5 N and then Airport Boulevard.
The airport is one of California’s busiest, accepting both domestic and international flights, the latter to Mexico. It has two terminals for passengers – A and B, while it also has two runways to split flights between.
