Car Hire Savannah

One of the largest cities in the Southern US State of Georgia, Savannah is just a few miles west of the Atlantic coast, getting its name from the Savannah River which runs through it. The state of Georgia was actually founded in Savannah back in 1733, a fact which is fully embraced in its designated Historical District, much of which still stands after being built in the 18th century. Today, Savannah acts as a regional hub for culture, retail and education, although its popularity as a tourist destination has helped the city to thrive for decades. Its local art and design college add a youthful edge which has helped to improve its nightlife, while there are plenty of public squares to go people-watching.

Ideal car

The roads here are in very good condition, although some of the streets in the centre of Savannah are on the narrow side. For that reason, a small car is the best thing to drive here.
