Important things to note

There are four major highways leading into Tallahassee, which are the I-10, US 27, US 319 and US 90. 
Parking in Tallahassee generally requires a fee to be paid, so do make sure that you have plenty of change on you person.
If getting to the city centre, the best route to take coming in from the east or west is the US 90, which has exits leading to many of the major attractions.

The New Capitol Building is tallest building in Tallahassee, offering panoramic views across the city and northern Florida from the 22nd floor. This government building comprises an equally impressive art gallery, while you can also take part in a self-guided tour which will allow you to see key areas of the building, such as the Senate Chambers and the Governor’s Office.
The intriguing past of the Sunshine State is the main focus the Museum of Florida. With a range of exhibits, programs and collections, visitors can come away having gained a thorough understanding of the key events that have taken place in Florida, from prehistoric times, right up to the present day.
To escape the hustle and bustle of the city, head to Lake Ella in the north of the city. This glistening expanse of water is accompanied by an idyllic park, featuring plenty of picnic areas, trails for walking and jogging as well as a handful of small shops and cafés. It tends to get very popular with locals during the summer, although there’s still plenty of space to roam.

Airport Information

Offering services to a several US destinations with some of the world’s biggest airlines, Tallahassee Regional Airport is located four miles to the southwest of the city.
While the airport is serviced by convenient and frequent public transport links, Route 263 is the best way to get there by car, as it is linked to the major roads. It can be reached via the I-10, which goes towards downtown Tallahassee.
